deer head is sort of an aesthetic project I do with a few friends. We'll occasionally do screen prints, illustrations, logotypes, etc.. usually all based on wisconsin culture; half making fun of it, and half reveling in it.. I'm not into hunting, cars, or nascar, but there is something about wisconsin I do like. I just don't know what it is.
This specific piece is a sample from a series of figures I've been making using old advertising woodcuts + deer heads. Post concept, concept, anyone?
Ohh, if anyone wants to use this for anything, I'd be happy to see where this could go. They're pretty funny.
